My Fun Fun Weekend

On Saturday it was a sunny day at 9.00am in the morning. I was in my car with my dad and he drove me to St Matt s and we got my sleeping bag, bag with all my gear and my pillow. When we got inside to the boarding house we got a name tag to pin on you so they know your name. This other girl came at the same time as me and another girl called Isabel and the other girl was Amy-Lee. All of us got shown our rooms and we got our own rooms with our own bed and we got a fat chocolate freddo. After we went to play games and we played jenga while we waited for the others. Once everyone was here we got a tour by these two girls Mary and Emma who always would take everywhere they were our guides. When we got the tour done we had Brunch at 12.00am . When we were having brunch we got Sausage rolls ,pasta, chips and heaps of other yum stuff. At 1.00pm we went to the gym and we played in there for about an hour and we were doing Badminton, skipping, basketball, netball,the hola hoops and heaps of other gear but the fun part in the gym was climbing up the ropes up to the ceiling and then falling on to the big padding.At 2.00pm we went up to our bedrooms and got dressed into our togs and we went to the masterton pools. when we were there i was first one dressed and strait away i went on the hydra slide it was fun. Once we were all finished in the pool we got dressed went back to St Matt s and had a shower before we went to the production Oliver. When we were at Oliver we got good seats at least and we watched the production and the girl was so nice she brought us lollies there. Once we came back to St Matt s we went to bed . On Sunday we had breakfast with toast and milo then we went home.

I had a fun fun weekend.

My term Reflection

My favorite part about this term would be doing Kapa Haka with my friends and asking her if i can be the girl leader.

The most challenging part about this term would be when i did the basic facts test and had to do stage 6 and had already done the stage 5 basic facts but i just stayed at stage 5 

The least favorite thing would be when i got stuck up a tree and the bell rang

What i want to work on next year would be trying to get back up to stage 6 for the basic facts test
and learning all my basic facts that i need to learn.

Should Animals be kept in zoos

Animals are kept in zoos all over the world

In my opinion i strongly disagree that animals should be kept in zoos because it is totally true animals should not be kept in zoos.

Obviously they would get depressed because they're in such a small space and their real habitats are way bigger.

Secondly their babies and parents get taken away from each other and they won't get to see much of their family.

Lastly they can kill humans like there was and elephant that escaped and killed a vet person

So you should think about it you might get killed or it will be sad because their family gets taken away from each other so you think about it guys.

             

HEY EVERYONE HERE IS A PICTURE OF MY PUPPIES!!!

                 THE INTER SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY  

WE WERE ON OUR WAY TO THE INTER SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY AND I HAD BUTTERFLIES ALREADY IN MY STOMACH AND RILEIGH AND EMMA HAD CAME WITH ME .MY HEART WAS POUNDING LIKE A ROCK HITTING THE GROUND I WAS WALKING UP TO THE STARTING LINE AND AS SOON AS I SAW THE TRACK I WAS SO NERVOUS AND THE GUY WAS SAYING " ON YOUR MARKS GET SET GOOOO!!!". I WAS SPRINTING LIKE A CHEETAH TRYING TO CATCH ITS PREY AND WHEN I WAS HALF WAY I FINELY STOPPED AND JOGGED AND THEN I SPRINTED AGAIN . AT THE END I WAS SO SURPRISED TO GET A BETTER PLACE THAN THE LAST INTER SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY AND I HAD LOOKED AT THE CERTIFICATE AND IT SAID I CAME 34 PLACE . THE WORST PART ABOUT THE INTER SCHOOL WAS WHEN MY THROAT HAD BLOCKED UP AND I COULDN'T COUGH IT OUT OR BREATH PROPERLY BUT I STILL TRIED TO IGNORE IT. THE BEST PART WOULD BE THAT IZZY HAD GOT FIRST AND MY FRIEND FROM JUDO CHARLIZE CAME 2ND BUT LAST YEAR CHARLIZE CAME 1ST BUT IT WAS COOL SEEING MY FRIENDS. I HAD A FUN TIME AT THE INTER SCHOOL BECAUSE FIRST WE GOT TWO AIRPLANE LOLLIES AND WE GOT ONE MORE BEFORE THE RACE.

My favourite creature:

My favourite creature would be a red panda bear. There are female red pandas and male red pandas and the male’s weight is 4.5 to 6.5kgs and the females weight is 3.0 to 4.8kgs.red pandas habitat is the bamboo Himalayan Forest of China and also red pandas live up to 8 to 10 years and the maximum is 15 years and they also have up to 1 or 2 cubs and maybe three which is rare. Something else is there length is 80 to 125cm also they can live in Nepal and India. Another thing is their diet is mostly bamboo also red pandas are endangered which is sad. The red pandas predator is humans, snow leopards, (adult pandas), and martens (family Mastelidae) are the main predators of red panda cubs but I think humans shouldn’t kill them there too cute. The main reason red panda bears are my favourite is because there cute, they look fluffy I wish I could have on as a pet but I can’t and also because they are so tiny which makes them cute.

My least favourite creature would be cockroaches because they are really fast and they can crawl on you and that’s just yuck and at night if you have cockroaches at your house then at night they might crawl on your face and you might wake up with one on your face and yea

MY FUN WEEKEND

IT WAS A SUNNY AND CLOUDY DAY ON SATURDAY IN THE MORNING. I HAD WOKE UP AT ABOUT 7.00AM IN THE MORNING AND MY MUM WAS UP TO AND MY BROTHER AND MY DAD BUT KATIA AND HER FRIEND WERE STILL ASLEEP UPSTAIRS. AT ABOUT 10.00AM ME MY MUM AND MY BROTHER WENT OUT TO TOWN AND I BROUGHT MY MONEY ALONG AND ASKED IF WE COULD GO TO UNCLE BILLS AND ON THE WAY GO TO THE POST BOX JUST IN CASE WE GOT MY PRIZE FROM WINNING FROM WHAT NOW. WHEN WE WENT INSIDE TO UNCLE BILLS I ALREADY NEW WHAT I WAS BUYING AND I BROUGHT A BIG PACK OF BANDS WHICH WERE THE CRAZY LOOMS WITH SOME CHARMS YOU CAN PUT ON THE BRACELETS. WHEN WE HAD WENT OUT OF UNCLE BILLS WE WENT TO CHECK THE POSTBOX BUT NOTHING WAS THERE BUT ON THE WAY OUT I SAW A POSTER AND IT WAS THE POLICE OPEN DAY SO WE ASKED MY DAD AND HE SAID WE COULD GO. WHEN WE GOT TO  THE POLICE OPEN DAY WE GOT TO GO IN THE PRISON VAN IT WAS COOL ALSO MUM TALKED TO HER FRIENDS FROM THE POLICE AND SEEING HOW SHE WAS GOING. AT 12.00 THEY DID A DEMONSTRATION WITH THE POLICE DOG DEUCE OF A ROBBERY AND HOW THE DOG WOULD GO AND BITE THE PEOPLE BUT THIS GUY HAD DONE IT BEFORE SO HE PUT ON SOME BIG BITS OF PADDING ON HIS ARMS AND THATS WHERE DEUCE WOULD BITE IT WAS COOL. ON SUNDAY WE HAD A CHILL OUT DAY . I HAD AN AWESOME WEEKEND.

HEY EVERYONE I WOULD LIKE TO SAY WHAT I DID AT SCHOOL LAST WEEK WELL ON WEDNESDAY ALL THE TARARUA TEAM FROM SOLWAY WENT TO WELLINGTON ZOO BECAUSE WE WERE LEARNING ABOUT MINI BEASTS. ALL OF US WENT IN CARS WITH THEIR GROUP AND I WENT WITH MY FRIEND LEAH . MY FAVOURITE PART WAS SEEING MY FAVOURITE CREATURE THE RED PANDA I JUST WISH I BROUGHT MY PHONE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF IT BUT WE USED THE CLASS CAMERA BUT AT LEAST I GOT TO SEE A PICTURE OF IT AND WE DID LOADS MORE STUFF.

 THE STORY ABOUT THE PUPPY CALLED BROWNIE


ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WAS A LITTLE PUPPY CALLED BROWNIE. BROWNIE WAS THE SIZE OF TEA-CUP.  HE HAD RUSTY COLOURED CURLY FUR AND DARK BLACK EYES THAT COULD MELT YOUR HEART. 

ONE DAY BROWNIE DECIDED TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE.  HE SAW A BUTTERFLY SWOOSH PAST HIS KENNEL SO HE RAN OUT OF THE YARD FOLLOWING IT.  HE DIDN'T REALISE HOW FAR HE HAD GONE UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE.  HE WAS LOST.  HE SUDDENLY REALISED THAT GOING ON AN ADVENTURE WASN'T SUCH A GREAT IDEA AFTER ALL.

BROWNIE WAS MISSING HIS MUM AND HIS SIBLINGS.  IT WAS GETTING DARK AND HE WAS VERY HUNGRY. HE WANDERED AROUND, LOOKING FOR A SAFE PLACE TO SLEEP.  HE FOUND A CARDBOARD BOX IN AN ALLEYWAY SO HE CURLED UP AND WENT TO SLEEP.

 THE NEXT DAY IT WAS RAINING AND BROWNIE WAS ALL WET THROUGH TO HIS SKIN.  HE WAS HUNGRY AND AS COLD AS A ICE BLOCK.  HE JUST WANTED TO FIND HIS MUMMY AND GET BACK TO HIS NICE , WARM HOUSE .

EVENTUALLY THE SUN CAME OUT AND THE RAIN STOPPED.  EVERYONE WAS OUTSIDE IN THE SUN.  AS BROWNIE WAS SO SMALL, HE THOUGHT THAT THE PEOPLE WERE GIANTS.  HE FELT SCARED.

AT 1.00PM BROWNIE WAS LYING DOWN BY A RUBBISH TIN.   A LITTLE GIRL CAME RUNNING UP TO BROWNIE.  BROWNIE THOUGHT THE GIANTS WERE CHASING AFTER HIM.WHEN THE LITTLE GIRL PICKED BROWNIE UP SHE ASKED HER MUM"CAN WE HAVE THIS CUTE LITTLE PUPPY PLEASE''.BROWNIE WAS SO SCARED THAT HE COULD JUST JUMP OUT OF HER HANDS, BUT THE LITTLE GIRLS MUM SAID ''NO HE PROBABLY HAS A FAMILY ALREADY''.THE LITTLE GIRL PUT BROWNIE DOWN AND SADLY SAID QUIETLY'' BYE PUPPY" AND THEN WALKED OFF WITH HER MUM.

 BROWNIE SADLY SPRINTED OFF TO FIND SHELTER FOR HIMSELF SO HE COULD GET A LITTLE BIT OF SLEEP AND THEN TRAVEL OFF TO FIND HIS MUMMY.BROWNIE WAS THINKING THAT HIS MUMMY WOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT HIM SO HE WENT OFF TO FIND SHELTER THAT COULD AT LEAST KEEP HIM A LITTLE WARM NOT LIKE WHEN HE FELT LIKE AN ICE BLOCK.

 DAYS PASSED BY AND THE LITTLE PUPPY WAS AT PARIS AND AS SOON AS HE SAW MEAT ON SOMEONES PLATE HE TRIED WALKING  TO THE TABLE TO GET THE YUMMY AND JUICY MEAT WITH DRIPPLING GRAVY ALL OVER IT

 ONCE BROWNIE WAS  AT THE TABLE HE BEGGED FOR THE MEAT AND THE LADY WAS SO NICE SHE GAVE THE MEAT  TO HIM AND EVEN HER DRINK OF SPARLING CLEAR ICEY WATER. BROWNIE HAD LITTLE BITS OF GRAVY COMING DOWN HIS FLUFFY CHIN AND DRIBBLING WATER ABOUT TO MIX WITH THE GRAVY AND THEN BROWNIE WENT TROTTING OFF AND SUDDENLY LIED DOWN NEAR A LARGE TREE THAT LOOKED SO FLUFFY AND WENT DRIFTING OFF TO SLEEP.

 IN THE MORNING HE OPENED HIS EYES SQUINTING WHEN HE SAW THE BRIGHT LIGHT BUT THEN  AND HE SAW HIS MUM CARRYING HIM AND HIS OTHER BROTHERS AND SISTERS WALKING NEAR THE MUM AND  WERE ALL HAPPY TO SEE BROWNIE ONCE AND AGAIN.

 BROWNIE FELT SO HAPPY TO BE WITH HIS MUM AND BROTHERS AND SISTERS BUT BEST OF ALL HE GOT BE CUDDLED UP AT HOME WITH HIS MUM ALL WARM AND COSY IN THERE HUGE BED INSIDE WITH THEM ALL CUDDLING UP TOGETHER.THE END
